Good ideas deserve
a wider world.
Every team sees its work from the inside. We’re building Antestrata to bring the lives, priorities, and perspectives beyond that room into the creative process.

There is always someone
you haven’t considered.
A price that feels reasonable to your team can mean a difficult compromise to someone else. A clever feature can interrupt a carefully built routine. A sentence everyone in the office understands can leave the intended buyer cold.
These differences are where useful research begins. Antestrata gives teams a way to explore them while an idea is still taking shape, through artificial respondents with individual biographies, memories, relationships, and priorities.
Bring a pitch, a page, a product concept, or a question. Explore how different lives change the way it is received. Use what you learn to make the next version more thoughtful.
A population to return to.
An understanding to build on.
Our ambition extends beyond a single test. We are building toward a connected artificial population that can accompany ideas over time: across versions, audiences, markets, and changing circumstances.
We want teams to develop a richer understanding of the people they hope to serve. That means preserving differences between individuals, making their reactions understandable, and carrying better questions into real-world research.
Built by Alexander Pichugin.
Antestrata is founded and built by Alexander Pichugin, a product leader and software builder with more than twenty years in web and product work.
The project brings together a long-standing interest in how people make decisions with the craft of building tools that help teams create better products. LifecoreML is the engine behind its artificial population; Antestrata brings that population into research.
